Terms of Use: the Press Releases section and Accreditation Account

The herein defined Terms of Service are a supplement to the Conditions of Service of HOCHTIEF Polska. Your acceptance of these terms will constitute your acceptance of the Conditions of Service.

1. Definitions:
The accreditation account ("the Account") is an electronic device accessible on the Internet. By means of this device the User may log in typing their valid user’s name (login) and a corresponding password, which in turn authorises the User to access certain information inaccessible to those users who are not registered. In particular, such an account is intended for journalists interested in press releases and statements issued by HOCHTIEF Polska. The hereby Web Site of HOCHTIEF Polska will be further referred to as "the Site". By "the User", we mean a person using the accreditation account.

2. In order to use the Account, the User has to work for or cooperate with a press institution or another media institution The registration information supplied via an electronic accreditation form is treated as data of corporate bodies, not private personal data of individuals.

3. The information obtained after logging in to an accreditation account may be used solely for professional journalistic purposes, which means that it may be published by the media institution to which the user belongs or with which they permanently cooperate, in print, in an electronic form, or by quoting the above mentioned information during television or radio broadcasts.

4. Photo, video and all the text resources available to the User are legally protected Reselling and charged or royalty free licensing of those resources is not permitted. Reselling and charged or royalty-free licensing of information accessed through the Account to other journalists or other parties making profit on gathering information is also forbidden, unless it is previously consented to the User in writing by HOCHTIEF Polska.

5. The User may not authorise any third party to use their Account. It is forbidden to disclose the registration information (login, password) to any third parties without a written consent of HOCHTIEF Polska.

6. The User is not in any way obliged to use the Account. However HOCHTIEF Polska reserves the right to terminate the account in case it is not used for more than 4 months.

7. Crating broadcasts and publications in their journalistic work the User is granted the right to use the information or portions thereof, obtained after logging in to the Account, regardless of its publication date, however on condition that they will quote the date and source of information every time they use it.

8. The User is obliged to update their contact information immediately if it is no longer valid or has changed.

9. In order to prevent any breach of security regarding the information provided to us, the User is obliged to ask HOCHTIEF Polska to change their password, when they suspect third parties of acquiring the User’s login and password, which might in turn result in an unauthorised use of their account.

10. There is no time limit for using the Account.

11. The use of the Account is free of charge.

12. The above Terms of Service may be altered without notice.
